Here are the seven winter locations (Oct. 15 to Apr. 15):
SUNDAY - Living Hope Community Church, 1155 Marsh St., Suite A (behind Harley Davidson on Hwy 30)
MONDAY - Faith Memorial Lutheran Church, 753 N. Calumet Ave (past 49'er Drive In, before Route 6, go to back door across from play area)
TUESDAY - BridgePoint Church, 105 Washington St. (intake from 7:30 to 9:00 pm, use Washington St. entrance)
WEDNESDAY - Faith Church, 1155 Sturdy Rd (across from Graceland Cemetery, use double doors in back)
THURSDAY - Union Community Church, 602 Monroe St. (corner of Monroe and College)
FRIDAY - First Christian Church, 1507 Glendale (across from Valplayso)
SATURDAY - Trinity Lutheran Church, 201 Washington St (corner of Washington and Chicago)
If you're in need of shelter tonight, you can show up at any of these sites between 6:00 and 9:00 pm (except Tuesdays, see above). We do work with the police, so if there's a warrant for your arrest, they'll be happy to take you to some alternative housing. Alcohol, weapons, and violent behavior are not permitted. There are some other restrictions, so if possible, please start by contacting Peggy Ridenour at 219-728-8215.
